The Sandman represents a new type of property, one that attracts multiple publics - the road tripper, the savvy corporate traveler, and those seeking a base camp for Napa and northern California excursions. It’s a hotel imbued with originality that carries the creative spirit of neighboring San Francisco. It’s savvy enough for the discerning guest yet approachable to those looking for a clean and comfortable room.
The creamy stucco facade overgrown with vines, terra cotta accents, and abundant indigenous plants unabashedly reference the Spanish Mission Revival typologies seen throughout California. Handsomely eccentric furnishings and thoughtful touch points remind us of the cheerful and carefree character of California.
