The Rose Tavern is a quintessential lakeside spot featuring classic all-American fare. The restaurant is becoming a cherished meeting place for family dinners, dates, and friendly celebrations. Showcasing locally sourced ingredients and seasonal menus, this place is the go-to dining scene for the Finger Lake region.
A welcoming and homey atmosphere and a wood-fired oven signal that this place is all about good food and great company. The restaurant is classically designed and soaks up sunlight from large, oversized windows overlooking the lake, adding a soothing warmth to a space already brimming with vibrancy from a community of co-mingling guests and locals. Dishes like skillet-fried trout with heirloom tomatoes and hand-made pastas dig deep into the regions natural resources and demonstrate the talents of both local farmers and chefs. Like the menu, the design is simple, straightforward, but delightfully satisfying. There’s an understated richness to the warm woods, leather banquettes, and classic bistro tables that finds the middle ground between the excessively refined and the overly informal. The ambiance is spirited, easy going and inviting.
