Perhaps surprisingly for a ranch in the Teton Mountains, psychogeography has become a guiding organizational principle in that we are encouraged to think of the land and landscape as containing a high level of ecological and geographical diversity. This ought not to be a single concept broadly applied, but rather a series of moments suggesting some more inclusive ecological connection, perspective or potential. In traveling through these spaces, ideally at a slow walk, one might have the experience of covering a great deal of ground in the space of a few steps. By condensing a series of approaches and celebrating the extant diversity within the landscape the property becomes an opportunity for a multitude of experiences.
